The candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where you will be the sole project owner working to deliver small‑to‑large multi‑channel projects across multiple client accounts. You should be comfortable and experienced with direct client communication, estimating/scoping projects, managing multiple clients and projects, and working with internal account, strategy, creative, studio, production, tech, asset management, and compliance/quality assurance teams.
Responsibilities- Manage small‑to‑large multi‑channel video/photography, digital, and print projects including videos, photo shoots, CGI animations/imagery, digital sales tools, social content, emails, websites/landing pages, collateral/event kits, and more.
- Develop detailed multi‑phased project plans/schedules.
- Manage day‑to‑day tasks, proactively identify potential challenges, and ensure on‑time project deliverables.
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget, executing change documentation when additional requests are made.
- Manage project communication internally and externally, documenting key meetings and decisions.
- Lead estimation process with discipline leads.
- Define project scope and develop SOWs and Change Orders.
- Track project schedules and budgets, monitor scope, and handle invoice tracking and account billing for a project‑based account.
- Report overall project status internally and externally during status meetings.
- Partner with resource management to assign resources.
- Partner with production and business affairs teams to complete rights management/usage documentation.
- Coordinate handoff of final assets to the asset management team.
- 2-5 years of experience, with 2+ in an agency environment.
- Client‑facing experience required.
- Extremely well organized and detail‑oriented.
- Team player, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Comfortable with quick‑turn projects and solution‑oriented.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in project management.
- Demonstrates strong writing and communication skills.
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills.
- High level of comfort managing multi‑channel projects in parallel.
- The ability to see the big picture while managing every detail.
- Experience with global campaigns and regional localization.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Adobe Workfront, Smart Sheet, and Microsoft 365 experience a plus.
- Must be open to early and late conference calls with global teams and clients, when needed.
- Must be open to travel in the US and globally as needed.
* This role is based in the Chicago office 3 days per week and 2 days remote.
US Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 USD.
