Job Title: Digital Content Producer
Location: Chicago, Illinois - Hybrid/Onsite as required
Position Type: W-2 Contract - 6 Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours per week
Talent Fish is casting a line for a Digital Content Producer
. This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting a dynamic marketing and communications environment. This role is responsible for producing, editing, and managing high‑quality digital content that supports brand goals and strengthens audience engagement. The position blends creativity, technical production skills, and project coordination to ensure digital assets such as web content, email campaigns, social media content, and multimedia assets are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Additionally, this role will provide backup support for HTML email design and development
, including working within existing templates and delivering rapid‑turnaround updates when needed.
- 2–5+ years of experience producing digital content within marketing, communications, or digital media environments
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and digital storytelling abilities
- Proficiency with HTML for email production and ability to work within pre-built templates while building additional elements as needed
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Word Press, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager
- Familiarity with design and multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma
- Understanding of SEO, UX, accessibility, and digital marketing best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects with short turnaround timelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Hub Spot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Mailchimp
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or social media insights tools
- Experience with video editing or motion graphics tools including Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced creative environment with changing priorities
- Produce, edit, and publish digital content across web, email, and social platforms
- Develop multimedia assets including images, videos, animations, and interactive content
- Write, proofread, and optimize copy for different digital channels
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts
- Update and maintain website content using CMS platforms
- Build and format HTML email campaigns, landing pages, and templates
- Ensure all content adheres to accessibility, UX, and SEO standards
- Provide backup support for HTML email design and development on an on‑call basis
- Manage content production timelines and ensure on‑time delivery
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate with marketing teams for campaign execution
- Assist with planning and executing digital marketing initiatives
- Conduct proofreading and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and brand alignment
- Test email campaigns across devices and email clients to ensure responsiveness
- Review performance metrics and recommend improvements to increase engagement
- Organize and maintain digital content libraries and documentation
- Ensure version control and consistent file naming conventions
The expected salary range for this position is $38 - $45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. Talent Fish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
