Music Teacher - Chicago, IL

About the Position

Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional music instructor who is comfortable teaching piano, voice, guitar, drums, and ukulele to teach part-time at Bucktown, our location in Chicago, IL. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON. We also welcome applicants who are experienced in teaching piano and one or more of the instruments listed.

We are seeking a teacher who can take over an existing schedule, of mostly piano students, on Saturday's from 9a-2p.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano or music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-32/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.
