Here you will be a key Video Engineer of a leading Michigan based Business Meetings and Events production house with a reputation for helping clients increase sales and market penetration by bringing their brands and messages to life at trade shows, events, meetings, road shows, mobile tours and more.

SENIOR VIDEO ENGINEER---Live Events
This is the position every good Video Engineer is looking for. It’s a key career position in the Live Events Division of one of the country’s best audio-visual equipment and meetings/events production houses. The company, located in Eastern Michigan, provides state of the art audio visual equipment and seasoned technical teams for large scale meetings and events, auto shows, exhibits and trade shows.
They have also been the provider of choice for some of the world s largest sporting events, engineering LED screens on the field and alternative viewing locations for millions of sports fans, and much more.
To engineer and specify required video equipment for staging events in response to client requests, and manage production work flow from budget to execution while ensuring that profits are maximized, policies & procedures are followed and customers are satisfied. Ability to specify or manage the specification of audio and or lighting equipment is a plus.
Professional Skills and Knowledge RequirementsCandidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in staging event production. Must be well versed with working knowledge and experience in using an array of live events video equipment utilized for video imaging, processing, switching, and projection, including projector blending. Should be very familiar with all key phases of the production world including Lighting, Sound, Video Display, Video Production, Presentations, Entertainment, Power, Rigging, Computer Graphics, Signal Transmission, Labor Management, Venue Coordination, Travel, Touring, and Trucking.
Must be able to read and understand floor plans and venue drawings. Knowledge and / or experience with LED technology is a plus. Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor and be efficient in the use of time management. Must have a safe driving record.
