Job Summary

At The Hand and The Eye , we believe great design tells a story you can feel. This position is responsible for developing high-quality creative assets that elevate the guest experience, support marketing initiatives, and maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with an understanding of hospitality, storytelling, and fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of creative assets across print, digital, environmental, and experiential platforms
  • Translate brand strategy and marketing objectives into compelling visual solutions
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines for assigned restaurant concepts or venues
  • Design assets including (but not limited to): menus, signage, advertising, social media graphics, presentations, promotional materials, and on-site guest-facing collateral
  • Partner closely with marketing, operations, culinary, and external vendors to deliver cohesive creative solutions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers as needed
  • Prepare production-ready files and oversee quality control through final output
  • Stay current on design trends, hospitality trends, and emerging creative tools
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • 5–7+ years of professional design experience, preferably within hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, or consumer brands
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, typography, layout, and brand storytelling
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); motion or digital design experience is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to both creative and non-creative stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
