Senior Art Director (Freelance, Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Art Director for a fixed‑term contract to support a major global consumer health brand. This role blends big‑picture conceptual thinking with hands‑on creative execution across digital, video, social, and e‑commerce channels.

• Lead visual direction across digital, video, social media, and e‑commerce projects.
• Translate briefs into compelling concepts and executions.
• Maintain high visual standards across all deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and creative leads.
• Develop original creative ideas for campaigns and ongoing activities.
• Prepare layouts, storyboards, mood boards, and visual systems.
• Oversee adaptation of content across multiple formats, platforms, and markets.
• Ensure creative ideas deliver consistent impact across channels.
• Shape creative for paid/organic social, display, video, online motion, and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Steward brand visual identity and navigate regulatory requirements.
• Review work for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
• Partner with strategy, account, and production teams, presenting work to clients and stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer.
• Strong portfolio highlighting conceptual thinking and multichannel execution.
• Expertise in digital, video, social media, and e‑commerce projects.
• Advanced visual design skills in layout, typography, and storytelling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Experience with consumer health or other regulated brands.
• Motion design skills or familiarity with motion workflows.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior creatives.
• Familiarity with Figma and collaborative design tools.
