Senior Project Estimator

Broken Glass, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Estimator to support our growing commercial glass and glazing operations. This role is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and supporting projects from bid through execution.

This position offers strong growth potential, with opportunity to expand into project management and oversee projects through completion.

We are open to candidates with commercial glazing experience or construction estimating experience who are eager to learn and grow within the glass industry.

• Prepare cost estimates for commercial glass and construction projects
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform material takeoffs including glass, aluminum systems, and hardware
• Communicate directly with general contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Request and evaluate supplier pricing and lead times
• Prepare proposals and bid submissions
• Coordinate with internal teams to support project execution
• Track active bids and maintain organized estimate records
• Support projects from estimating phase into execution as needed

• Strong expertise in estimating techniques, project costs, and budgeting
• Experience in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Familiarity with commercial glazing systems, materials, and installation processes
• Proficiency with relevant software, such as construction estimating and project management tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in the glazing industry
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes

• CRL Systems or similar glazing systems
• Fast-paced commercial construction environment
