About the Opportunity

An established, privately held Data Center Developer and Operator is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical facilities across multiple sites. The organization works with enterprise-level clients and delivers complex projects through flexible ownership and delivery models, with a strong emphasis on long-term partnerships and operational excellence.

The Role

This role is responsible for leading site design coordination, pre-construction planning, and construction execution across multi-phase projects. The Construction Project Manager plays a central role in driving schedule certainty, cost control, quality outcomes, and safe delivery, while coordinating across internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-phase construction projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Coordinate communication between ownership, design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to minimise delivery constraints
  • Partner with Environmental Health & Safety leadership to ensure site safety standards and procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Support design development through cost feedback, value engineering, and constructability reviews
  • Contribute to project schedules and assess impacts related to design and documentation milestones
  • Assist in the preparation of general contractor RFPs
  • Manage the RFP process, including bid evaluation and pricing comparisons
  • Collaborate with procurement teams on major equipment purchasing and delivery timelines
  • Track and manage RFIs and submittals, ensuring timely coordination with project stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, including cost tracking and variance reporting
  • Establish and monitor project schedules, cash flow projections, and forecasts
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates
  • Review contractor invoices, including detailed work-in-progress validation
  • Evaluate and negotiate change orders
  • Travel as required (20- 30%)
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience delivering data center or other mission-critical facilities
  • Strong communication skills, including written reporting and stakeholder presentations
