A reputable construction company in Chicago, IL is seeking an Interior Commercial Superintendent to lead interior remodeling projects from start to finish with precision and confidence. This role is central to keeping projects on schedule, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and ensuring job sites run efficiently and safely. The superintendent will take a hands-on approach to coordinating subcontractors, resolving challenges before they impact timelines, and creating a productive, professional work environment.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000 year/DOE
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of interior remodels
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with subcontractors and maintain a positive work atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites
- Assist with preconstruction tasks, including RFI submissions and estimating
- Adapt to project demands, including early starts for deliveries
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior commercial construction
- Proven ability to manage schedules effectively
- Experience with school projects is a plus
- General construction knowledge with at least 2 years in the field for junior roles
- Estimating experience is preferred
- OSHA certification is preferred
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate
- 6-7 paid holidays and 10 days of PTO, negotiable
- 401k plan with 4% matching after one year
- Health insurance coverage at 50%, including dependents, eligible after 30 days
