Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Job Description

This Chicago based contractor is seeking an expereinced commercial roofing superintendent. They are looking for that go getter who wants to join a team that is expanding quickly! There is plenty of room to advance with upward mobility ranging from management and more. My client has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years and rapidly growing.

They take pride in educating their clients so they can make decisions about their project/s that meet their own objectives. Whether the project is a landmark job, their warehouse, people should feel comfortable that their contractor understands their expectations.

The basic qualifications for this position include:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the supervision and installation of ALL COMMERCIAL ROOFING SYSTEMS
• Strong computer skills are required along with strong organizational skills and job tracking abilities
• OSHA 10 certification required. OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• We are looking for those with proven leadership and the ability to manage teams
• Ability to read, understand and interpret construction drawings
• Conduct and participate in safety meetings.
• Participate in manufacturer inspections
• A valid driver's license
• Must be team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated, innovative, hardworking individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks
• Ensure Safety-Walk, Quality Walk, and Production (Daily completion of QC/QA forms)
