Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage field operations on complex commercial and institutional construction projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day site leadership, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and schedule execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead onsite construction activities from mobilization through project close-out
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all field operations, subcontractors, and trade partners
  • Maintain daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and accurate site documentation
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Management team to drive schedule and field execution
  • Review construction documents and ensure work is performed per plans and specifications
  • Utilize construction technology and collaboration tools for coordination and punchlist management
  • Conduct regular subcontractor coordination and safety meetings
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and schedule risks
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure completed work meets project requirements
  • Coordinate inspections, punchlists, turnover, and closeout activities
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative for the company
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial, institutional, or large-scale building projects
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Proficiency with construction management software and field technology
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule accountability
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local jobsites
Preferred Experience
  • Background on technically complex or occupied-site projects
  • Experience mentoring junior field staff
  • Strong coordination skills across multiple trades and stakeholders
