CSEngineering is looking to add a Construction Administrator to our growing team! This position will support construction oversight activities in VA medical facility. The CA will assist in implementing quality, safety, cost, schedule, and information management processes while ensuring construction work complies with contract documents and project requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support construction administration activities for projects within an active medical facility.

* Assist in implementing project plans related to Quality Assurance, Safety, Schedule, Cost, Change, and Information Management.

* Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, and drawings.

* Perform Quality Assurance monitoring and identify deficiencies or incongruities in contractor work.

* Review, analyze, and assist with construction documentation, reports, and work products.

* Understand and track the baseline construction schedule and assist in evaluating acceptable work in place.

* Support coordination with General Contractors and Subcontractors regarding site operations.

* Assist in compiling project records, reports, and data using construction-related software tools.

* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and project team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* A degree from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred OR equivalent work experience or demonstrated knowledge may substitute for formal education.

* A minimum of five (5) years of construction work experience may be substituted and will be reviewed for acceptability.

* Demonstrated working knowledge of construction practices and building construction operations.

* Experience in monitoring construction activities for Quality Assurance.

* Experience identifying deficiencies and inconsistencies between contractor work and construction documents.

* Understanding of construction scheduling principles and evaluation of work-in-place.

* Experience supporting completed construction projects of similar scope and complexity

* Must be a United States Citizen

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to provide three (3) completed projects of similar scale and complexity where the individual held a comparable role.

* Strong communication and language skills.

* Proficiency with construction-related software tools for monitoring, updating, tracking, and reporting project information.
