A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced
BAS Controls Construction Manager for projects in the Chicago, IL area. This position will oversee BAS construction, retrofit, and integration work within mission-critical facilities. • Lead and manage BAS retrofit, upgrade, and integration projects in mission-critical environments.
• Oversee construction budgets, project schedules, subcontractor coordination, and field execution.
• Ensure safe work practices and full compliance with company, client, and industry construction standards.
• Supervise BMS controls installation, HVAC system upgrades, and facility infrastructure improvements.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, plans, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate installations and project activities with engineers, vendors, trades, and stakeholder teams.
• Troubleshoot field issues, recommend solutions, and support uninterrupted project progress.
• Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining quality, accuracy, and customer expectations.

• Hands-on experience managing BAS construction, retrofit, or control system integration projects.
• Strong technical background with Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and multi-disciplinary field teams.
• Skilled in interpreting detailed drawings, submittals, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is highly beneficial.

• Base salary of $110K–$160K DOE + ~20% bonus potential
