Business Development Manager

We’re partnering with a leading industry company to find a talented Business Development Manager (Capital Markets, Funds, and Real Estate). This is a permanent position based in a hybrid work environment, requiring on-site presence 3–4 days per week. Located in major markets such as Chicago, Dallas, or New York, the role offers an exciting opportunity to support a prestigious global law firm’s corporate practice groups through strategic marketing and business development efforts.

• Lead comprehensive proposal and RFP responses, providing guidance to team members on persuasive content creation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to implement key business development initiatives.
• Assist in onboarding and integrating lateral hires in coordination with talent and development teams.
• Manage submissions for legal directories and awards, working closely with attorneys and marketing colleagues.
• Support strategic planning efforts and drive business development projects aligned with broader firm objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field emphasizing research, strategic planning, marketing, or business development.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client service, preferably in legal or professional services.
• Proven experience with corporate practice areas such as capital markets, public companies, funds, or real estate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, credible presence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
