Job Description
As an MHA Consulting Intern within our Healthcare practice, you’ll aid our clients and internal teams to evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment. You’ll have the opportunity to help our business leaders execute initiatives which benefit clients through revenue enhancement and cost containment programs, upgrading technology systems, creating stronger leaders, and improving outcomes for patients.
Intern Role & ResponsibilitiesOur Interns join us from a wide range of backgrounds and make an immediate impact working as part of a team committed to developing creative insights, implementing and designing processes, and driving tangible results. We provide access to the training and coaching you need while you work independently or in group settings to get hands‑on experience in building effective relationships and creating solutions for our teams.
With a solution‑oriented approach, you will collaborate with team members to critically think and problem‑solve to execute the implementation of effective processes and strategies for Huron teams. As an Intern, you’ll spend up to forty hours per week across 10 weeks working on various client and internal projects with your project team. You will also get a chance to support the development and maintenance of various consulting documentation and methodology which supports client work.
Responsibilitiesmay include
- Supporting the strategic priorities of the business through design‑sprints, solution development, execution of essential tasks, and communication to Healthcare Consulting business leaders
- Collaborating with internal team members during projects, including presenting key takeaways and communicating project updates
- Engaging with colleagues across the industry group to develop innovative and industry‑leading methodologies that better serve our clients
- Connecting initiatives across Healthcare Consulting – understanding how work fits into the big picture and helping to align related work
- Actively enrolled in first year of MHA program
- May 2027 Graduate
- 1‑2 years of hospital, business consulting experience
- Experience working within large data sets Excel, Power Point
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Critical thinking skills, easily able to adapt to change, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- U.S. work authorization required

The compensation for this job is $46/hr the represents a good faith estimate of the rate that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting.
