A high-growth, VC-backed construction technology company is expanding its leadership team and seeking a Director of Business Development to build and scale its Mission Critical vertical across North America.

This organization is transforming how the world’s most complex infrastructure projects are delivered — with a particular focus on data centers, healthcare facilities, and critical infrastructure environments.

The Opportunity
  • Build and lead the Mission Critical vertical across North America
  • Scale and manage a high-performing BDR team
  • Own enterprise pipeline strategy and long-cycle revenue development
  • Establish executive-level relationships with top-tier contractors, owners, and developers
  • Operate within one of the most strategically important sectors in modern construction

This is a ground-up leadership opportunity with meaningful executive visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute North American enterprise pipeline strategy
  • Implement account-based development across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
  • Develop C-suite relationships within mission-critical ecosystems
  • Drive operational excellence across CRM, forecasting, and pipeline governance
  • Build scalable outbound and enterprise qualification processes
  • Personally engage in high-value deal origination and strategic relationship development
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 8+ years of business development experience
  • 3–5+ years leading BDR or BD teams
  • Experience selling into mission-critical sectors (data centers, power, industrial, healthcare) strongly preferred
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or construction technology highly desirable
  • Proven success in complex, long-cycle enterprise sales environments
  • Process-oriented leader capable of building structure in high-growth settings
  • Relationship-driven executive comfortable engaging sophisticated stakeholders
  • $160,000 base salary + commission & bonuses
