The Senior Manager Membership Operations and Data Quality provides strategic and operational support for membership data strategy, quality, and operational excellence, with accountability for stabilizing, and continuously improving membership data across integrated systems. This role leads and develops a team of Data Managers, sets clear expectations for documentation, data-driven decision-making, and operational consistency, and ensures work is prioritized and resourced effectively.
The position establishes and executes the Membership Data Strategy, delivers standardized dashboards and monitoring tools, and drives division-wide data quality initiatives. The role sets standards for data and reporting while advancing scalable processes and automation to improve efficiency and stability.

Operational OversightLead the execution of all membership lifecycle operations. Ensure comprehensive documentation, standardized reporting, and effective measurement practices are established, maintained, and leveraged to monitor performance and support organizational goals.
Data Strategy & Data QualityLead efforts to stabilize, validate, and sustain high-quality membership data across integrated systems.
Standardization & AutomationLead the standardization of membership lifecycle processes across system and non-system state societies, partnering with state and local organizations to drive consistent, scalable operational practices.
Must Have- Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of degree
- 8 years experience (or 12 years in lieu of a degree) with an AMS/CRM or relationship database system and end to end delivery project management.
- At least 3 years of experience using analytical tools such as Excel (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Knowledge of customer mapping or customer journey life cycle and knowledge of data analysis and dashboards
- Must have verbal communication, writing, collaboration, presentation, prioritization, strategic, and strong analytical skills
- Be a self-starter, results-focused, process discipline, and comfort working in a complex and evolving operational environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft
365 or other Microsoft Office - Position may require before or after hours work
- Experience working within a database and/or project management framework such as Agile or Scrum, using tools like Azure Dev Ops
