Giordano’s is a legendary Chicago-based restaurant brand, known as The One for Chicago-style pizza. With a strong dine-in presence, a growing delivery business, and a mix of company-owned and franchised locations, we are poised for strategic expansion. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to manage our off-premise and digital business.
The Vice President, Off-Premise & Digital is a strategic leader responsible for driving Giordano’s off-premise revenue streams and continued digital transformation. This role spearheads growth initiatives across alternative sales channels such as self-delivery, catering, banquets, tour groups, cooking classes, and events. This role also works with Marketing and IT to set the vision, execution, and optimization of all owned digital platforms including website, mobile app, e-commerce, loyalty, and third-party marketplaces (Door Dash, Uber Eats, EZCater, etc).
The VP will lead efforts to acquire new customers, increase frequency among existing guests, and re-engage lapsed customers through best-in-class digital experiences and innovative off-premise programs, while collaborating with franchisees to develop and implement strategic off-premise sales initiatives that drive growth and enhance customer experience.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in digital strategy, e-commerce, or multi-channel restaurant/hospitality operations.
- Proven track record of driving digital growth and managing complex off-premise programs.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Expertise in martech platforms, CRM, and loyalty programs.
- Exceptional ability to influence cross-functionally and lead large teams.
- Leadership traits: exceptional strategic thinking and change management skills to guide traditional restaurant teams through technical shifts.
- Off-premise program profitability and event execution quality.
- Delivery marketplace optimization and partner satisfaction.
- Digital channel revenue growth (owned and third-party).
- Customer acquisition and retention rates.
- Overall contribution to Giordano’s brand growth and guest experience.
- Work with Operations, Ops Services, Supply Chain, Finance, and Culinary to optimize Giordano’s catering menu, positioning within the marketplace, and packaging.
- Collaborate with Operations and franchise partners to implement best practices for digital ordering, fulfillment, and guest experience across all ordering channels.
- Ensure flawless execution of off-premise programs, maintaining brand standards and operational efficiency.

Optimize Giordano’s in-house delivery platform for adoption and profitability. - Tour Group Sales

Build partnerships with travel operators to capture large group dining opportunities. - Events

Execute large-scale catering events such as concerts, corporate gatherings, and university catering events. - Alternative Venue Partnerships

Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships with venues in sports, airports, and airport lounges to expand brand reach. - Cooking Classes

Create experiential programs that build brand loyalty and drive incremental sales.
- Manage and optimize relationships with third-party delivery partners, negotiating terms and ensuring profitable growth.
- Continuously evaluate marketplace performance and implement strategies to maximize economic value and brand presence.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital roadmap for pickup, delivery, and catering programs, ensuring seamless customer journeys across web, app, and third-party platforms.
