The Deal Operations team is hiring an experienced Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist to support the Sales Team on a wide range of deals spanning across new prospects, existing customer renewals, true ups and M&A transactions.
** About the Role
** Workday is seeking a versatile Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist to join our Deal Operations Team. Our employees are at the core of our business, which means the ideal candidate has a partnership mentality acting as a trusted advisor to guide and collaborate with Sales Executives on deal strategy and problem solving challenges to support non-standard deal closure. Success in the role requires a candidate that is analytical, detail oriented, process-minded and thrives in a fast-paced environment while efficiently multitasking

As a Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist, you will assist Sales Account Executives (i) Develop strategies for a variety of deal scenarios, (ii) Support Sales throughout the deal cycles, (iii) Facilitate conversations across Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Deal Operations, and Sales teams, (iv) Perform deal calculations in the quoting tool and potentially offline in MS Excel/Google Sheets and prepare and modify contract documents, (v) Manage the negotiations process including redlines on commercial documents;

(vi) Work in a flex model environment of 50% in office/50% remote each fiscal quarter.
** About You
** As a Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist, you will assist Sales Account Executives (i) Develop strategies for a variety of deal scenarios, (ii) Support Sales throughout the deal cycles, (iii) Facilitate conversations across Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Deal Operations, and Sales teams, (iv) Perform deal calculations in the quoting tool and potentially offline in MS Excel/Google Sheets and prepare and modify contract documents, (v) Manage the negotiations process including redlines on commercial documents;

(vi) Work in a flex model environment of 50% in office/50% remote each fiscal quarter.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Comfortable researching and finding solutions to a sales proposal.
* Comfortable making independent decisions related to Workday contracting and commercial terms.
* Ability to quickly prioritize and complete work.
