Position OverviewThe firm is seeking a highly driven Director to originate and execute middle‑market transactions while supporting the ongoing expansion of the U.S. practice. The ideal candidate has strong origination capabilities, deep client relationships, and sector expertise within Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, or Business & Technology Services.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial banker who wants to leverage a global platform while building their own book of business.
Responsibilities- Originate new client relationships and transaction opportunities through active outreach, market coverage, and established networks.
- Drive new mandates through deep sector knowledge and relationships with private equity firms, strategic acquirers, founders, and executives.
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies within chosen vertical(s).
- Lead and manage deal execution processes, including pitch development, valuation, structuring, negotiations, and closings.
- Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Mentor Associates and Analysts to support execution excellence and team development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across global offices and sector teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
- Contribute to sector initiatives, thought leadership, and business development strategy.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and entrepreneurial growth.
- 8-12 years of investment banking experience with a strong focus on M&A.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and win middle‑market transactions; existing relationships strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, or Business & Technology Services.
- Strong network across private equity, strategic buyers, and middle‑market executives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑development skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, high‑growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
