In this pivotal role, you will partner with Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Accounts Payable, IT, and external suppliers to drive value and elevate procurement performance. You’ll harness the power of analytics, digital tools, and ERP systems (Oracle ERP/Forms/Java, Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel) to transform data into actionable insights, enhance P2P processes, support sourcing projects, and champion operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities- Support Oracle Sourcing processes, setups, system enhancements, and end-user training.
- Assist the Strategic Sourcing team with initiatives such as preparing RFPs, evaluating vendor proposals, contract negotiations, and strategy development.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
- Assist with evaluating supplier performance, providing reports, reviewing data, and offering insights.
- Promote and support the Sourcing SharePoint site and its evolving functions.
- Act as primary contact for plant purchasing team support.
- Support new sourcing technologies, such as AI.
- Identify and implement improvements to the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Support the development, documentation, maintenance, and enforcement of procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for procurement software and purchasing systems (Oracle ERP, USG Answers, Contract Management System, Procurement Card Program), helping to streamline processes and drive digital transformation.
- Manage high‑risk Oracle responsibilities and approvals.
- Serve as a primary troubleshooting contact for plant/site‑level purchasing teams, providing guidance on procurement processes, policy compliance, and system usage.
- Support management of the Sourcing Service Desk queue and recommend data‑driven process improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues related to raw materials and indirect goods and/or services.
- Analyze company‑wide spend data to uncover trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling presentations for management, supporting strategic decision‑making.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards (using Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel) to track KPIs related to sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Use data and market intelligence to build business cases and cost models that quantify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sourcing activities and supplier performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify, suggest, and execute reporting enhancements to keep sourcing moving forward and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of procurement or sourcing analytics experience.
- Experience with Power BI/Tableau, Excel, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge;
Green Belt preferred. - Experience in a purchasing environment is a plus.
- Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in HQ office.
