Junior Analyst, Data Intelligence

• Blend traditional measurement analytics with high-impact monitoring work.
• Learn and use industry-leading tools and resourceful thinking to find and aggregate breaking news, data, and information.
• Assist your team with translating raw information into savvy intelligence for clients and account teams via briefs, newsletters, crisis alerts, and traditional reporting.
• Work in lockstep with the digital and account teams.
• Interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, clients as well.
• Learn about PR and Integrated Communications and the role data plays in making informed decisions.

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Willing to learn how to leverage information from a bevy of sources to best assist with analyzing problems.
• Strong appetite for reading and very strong writing skills – able to digest large amounts of information quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic experience with digital tools, like:
  Cision, Muck Rack, Talkwalker, Peak Metrics, Google Analytics, News Whip, SEMRush, etc.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications with specific experience in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.).
• Burgeoning problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing and the various metrics that come with them, a plus.
• Basic knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems, a plus.
• Experience with measurement, media planning and media mix modeling, a plus.

Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000 USD/yr

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
