GSV Ventures also runs critical platforms for its investing activity, including the world-renowned ASU+GSV Summit and the AI Show.
What We Are Seeking: We are seeking an Associate to join the GSV investment team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education and workforce skills by working with innovative tech platforms. Your responsibilities will encompass several key domains: portfolio management, cross-functional projects, research, due diligence, and sourcing.
What You Will Do:
Portfolio Management: Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, collaborating with their leadership teams to drive growth.Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities in the education and workforce skills sectors.Deal Sourcing and Origination: Proactively identify and source early-stage investment opportunities through extensive industry networking.Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership activities, representing GSV Ventures at industry events and sharing insights on emerging trends.Contribute to ASU+GSV Summit: Help build the community of startups and industry experts attending the ASU+GSV Summit.Who You Are:
Experience: 2-5 years of related professional experience in investing, investment banking, consulting, or early-stage startups. A strong preference for familiarity with the edtech/workforce learning landscape.Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical acumen, fluency with AI tools, and a proactive relationship builder.Mindset: Operates with “Hair-on-Fire” urgency, is highly inquisitive, a natural optimist, and is committed to our mission to give all people access to the future.Join our community of VCs/Investors here – (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
