Job OverviewThe National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the US territory including sales of New, Used and Remanufactured Attachments and support parts. This will include leading a team of DMs and Account Managers while supporting the Business Director with analytics, reporting, meeting preparation and strategic direction. The key initiative is to manage resources to improve dealer performance by analyzing attachment requirements, developing programming and reporting market conditions back to CHQ.
Will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 4-8.
- Lead Attachment District Managers and Account Managers to maximize New Attachments and Parts Sales & profit with a focus on market population to help create aftermarket opportunities.
- Manage the sales of Used and Remanufactured Attachment Sales by DMs & Account Managers to help reduce equipment inventory while also driving resale values that will help support future leasing opportunities.
- Establish goals and objectives for each DM & Account Manager and communicate on a routine basis the expectations to ensure collectively the business meets their sales targets and deadlines.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate DMs, Account Managers to help drive them to the above-mentioned targets.
- Facilitate the completion and ongoing monitoring of the Joint Marketing Plan (JMP), if applicable distributor "Focus Program" and divisional key marketing programs as well as direct the establishment of Consignment Inventory Targets and order fulfillment.
- Provide annual, quarterly and monthly sales and market forecasts. Coordinate & provide market intelligence; competitive products information / programs, pricing and end-user expectations. Manage the DM & Account Manager activity of updating CRM deal information.
- Distributor Joint Business Meeting preparations.
- Data analysis, reporting, and assistance with materials to support Director and CHQ.
- Drive customer satisfaction through new, used & remanufactured attachment availability, and collaboration with regional Sales Managers & Customer Service & Support Managers.
- Continue to strengthen relationships with dealer personnel in the assigned region.
- BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or applicable field: MBA Preferable 5+ years experience in the industry with experience in sales and marketing.
- Strong knowledge of distributor operations.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures, creativity, tact, good judgment and the ability to work with people at all functional levels.
- Strong analytical ability, ability to grasp market conditions, customer needs and to make quick decision.
- Effective Managerial, Motivational and Communications skills as well as ability to interact with all levels of people.
- Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, & other applicable systems).
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%+ as needed.

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $141,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
