Senior Carrier Analyst, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Work closely with TMS provider to manage carrier relationships and issues
• Analyze transportation market intelligence tools to drive procurement strategies and processes
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the carrier network and collaborate with teams to act on them
• Regularly monitor carrier spend and ensure Mark Anthony is tracking to hit fiscal year COGS goal
• Ensure carriers meet minimum KPI expectations
• Prepare data for business reviews
• Track carrier KPIs – on‑time performance, tender acceptance, routing guide compliance
• Monitor and manage COGS Key Metrics & Financial Targets

• Onboard new carrier partners
• Oversee overall carrier network performance to ensure partners meet or exceed KPI metrics
• Facilitate annual procurement event
• Influence carrier network awards, selection, and development decisions
• Drive business decisions based on carrier service levels

• Internal – Customer Supply Chain Planners, Fulfillment
• External – Partner carriers, TMS provider

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
• 3–4 years of progressive experience in logistics or transportation
• Experience working with TMS platforms
• Proficient in Excel

• Understanding of freight market conditions
• Attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, multi‑tasking, and prioritization
• Ability to analyze and articulate large amounts of data, identify trends

• Cross‑functional collaboration with the greater Logistics team and impact on business
• Impact of carrier relationships and long‑term partnerships
• Procurement skills – strategy development, RFP, market trend analysis

This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring on‑site presence in the office at least four days per week to support collaboration and team engagement.

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members considers internal equity and may vary based on location and individual qualifications.

• Competitive annual salary from $84,000 to $100,000, based in Illinois
