- Conduct market and competitor research to support business development initiatives.
- Assist in identifying potential new client opportunities.
- Draft and edit pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing materials.
- Gather and format data, case studies, and success stories for presentations.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all business development documents.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and prospect information.
- Support pipeline management by tracking opportunities and deadlines.
- Coordinate internal meetings, take notes, and track action items.
- Assist in preparing agendas and materials for client or leadership meetings.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the business development team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather input for proposals and materials.
- Support follow-up communications with prospects and clients.
- Serve as a point of contact for information requests within the team.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in the applicable field.
- Strong sales presentation and development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of syndicated data.
- Intermediate or advanced computer skills.
- Skill in supervising, including delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance.
- Conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide cross-functional leadership.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment.
- Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
