Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Specialist to join their team. As a Case Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Arbitration Support Department, supporting the arbitration and case management processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to case handling, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $30/hr W2
What's the Job?- Responsible for case intake, including preparing cases for service by analyzing initial pleadings, as well as analyzing and processing subsequent pleadings such as answers, counterclaims, cross claims, and third-party claims.
- Process initial claims, draft deficiency notices for deficient claims, and manage reservice of claims if original service is unsuccessful.
- Determines proper panel composition, generates and updates arbitrator lists, reviews arbitrator information for conflicts, removes conflicted or unavailable arbitrators, and processes new or additional lists as needed due to panel composition changes.
- Responsible for responding to inquiries, both verbally and in writing, on arbitration policies and procedures, pleadings, case status, assessment of fees, and the ODR Portal.
- Monitor case-related reports to ensure compliance with deadlines and expectations, maintaining all service level agreements.
- Conducts and processes financial review of settled/withdrawn cases and hearing awards, reviews incoming submissions, and closes cases within expected timeframe.
- Monitor case-related reports to ensure compliance, maintain motions calendar, solicit responses, and prepare documentation for timely submission to arbitrators, making recommendations for administrative motions and substantive issues.
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 1-2 years of related experience in a legal environment.
- Ability to utilize electronic docket management systems and portals effectively for case documentation.
- Demonstrates effective customer service with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage case processes efficiently.
- Proactive approach to prioritizing work and collaborating with team members and management.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in case processing and fee assessments.
