Responsibilities
  • Assist across product management activities in a collaborative role working with technology, business, design and other stakeholders to build and execute a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of front-end experience, capabilities, and downstream services that support everyday sales needs across all channels and insurance product offerings.
  • Roll up your sleeves and influence organizational change through proper scoping, process improvements and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Assist in owning and prioritizing the long-term product roadmap (6+ months) to deliver business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team.
  • Write epics, features, and user stories to drive solution and execution aligned to business outcomes and customer-first experiences.
  • Leverage modern architecture considerations to identify problem-solution fit and evaluate trade-offs while negotiating requirements.
  • Create and use artifacts to influence stakeholders (e.g., Vision, Roadmaps, Features/Epics, Progress Updates).
  • Understand current and future state architecture and identify KPIs, using data to refine the roadmap as needed.
  • Anticipate how features fit into the larger ecosystem and assess impacts from changes in other parts of the business.
  • Coach and mentor other Product Managers.
  • Apply strong organizational and analytical skills to conduct analysis and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrate a bias for action, partnership, and influence to drive prioritization and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in underwriting, rating, and insurance product offerings (i.e., modeling, telematics, product definition) is a plus.
  • Oversee product rollout planning, segmentation, product adoption and opportunities for product promotion.
  • Leverage agile metrics to understand contribution to agile teams and identify opportunities for improvement.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years in agile product management
  • 2+ years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery or launch to market
  • 2+ years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance industry experience preferred and customer first mindset
  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
  • High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive change
  • Deliver value in an iterative way focusing on the minimum viable product and regularly report on product performance
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, Marketing
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering or computer science
Compensation

$71,750.00 - $

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
