In office 3-5 times a month and as needed based on business needs.

Objective Of Position

The Process Improvement Lead is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing business processes to drive efficiency, quality, and value across the organization. This role partners with cross‑functional teams and supports the Office of Operational Excellence and Transformation by delivering measurable improvements aligned with strategic priorities.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize process improvement opportunities across business units
  • Lead process mapping, analysis, and redesign initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance performance
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and build consensus
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans, including documentation, training, and change‑management support
  • Monitor and report on process improvement outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs
  • Collaborate with Data & Reporting Analysts to quantify impact and track benefits realization
  • Integrate AI capabilities, including chatbots and document processors, into business processes
  • Support transformation projects by providing process expertise and integrating improvements into broader initiatives
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and encouraging innovation
  • Prepare executive‑level presentations and reports for the Office of Operational Excellence and Transformation
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Operations, Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operational excellence, preferably in financial services
  • Financial or accounting acumen; audit experience plus
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, process mapping and redesign experience
  • Proficiency in Visio, Excel, data analysis/reporting tools
  • Familiarity with core business systems (Salesforce, FIS, nCino) and emerging AI technologies
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience driving change and delivering results in cross‑functional, matrixed environments
  • Proven ability to implement measurable process improvements
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic environments
Physical Demands/Work Environment

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

Compensation & Benefits

Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. The salary range for this position is between $104,000 to $129,000.
