job summary
oversee merchandise assets and warehouse operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, addressing inquiries, and handling routine issues. Utilize electronic tracking systems to monitor inventory, surplus items, and property stored in warehouses. Oversee the receipt and distribution of materials to county facilities, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with record management staff to coordinate document retention and disposal processes.
minimum qualifications- graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- two (2) years in the management of warehouse materials and inventory, or directly related experience is required.
- an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.

degrees awarded outside the united states (except those awarded in one of the united states territories and canada) must be credentialed by the world education services (wes), educational credential evaluators (ece), or a national association of credential evaluation (naces) member organization.
knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics- ability to prepare and maintain operating records and other reports, such as materials used and work schedules.
- knowledge of microsoft word, excel, and inventory software products.
- knowledge of warehousing and inventory practices and procedures, and knowledge of moving equipment and various hand tools.
- ability to coach others regarding their work and outputs in safe work practices and in the operation of pallet lifts/ four-wheeled dollies.
- ability to provide moderate-level insight, advice, and expertise to other professionals, management, and external contacts in an assigned functional area.
- ability to operate as a team player and communicate specialized knowledge to team members, managers, and external stakeholders.
- knowledge of moderately complex principles and practices for a specialized area of focus.
sedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

- salary range: $75,704 - $83,570
