What You'll DoThe Global Business Analyst (GBA) provides key insights and analysis of the racquet sports market, driving recommendations across sports, segments and channels. The GBA leads the definition of data requirements to understand brand positioning across key markets, determines the biggest opportunities and priorities, and works with Global and Regional Commercial Leaders to define action plans.
Specific Responsibilities- Assess current data sources and define additional needs.
- Analyze core market data (market share via TIA, Europe share, Yana-Rakuten, etc.) and report key trends by geography.
- Lead analysis of the Size of the Prize per region/market to drive growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis per segment and define Wilson SWOT.
- Generate reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights for decision‑making.
- Develop and work closely with US Specialty Sales Leads to analyze US business trends and gaps.
- Work with databases, spreadsheets, and visualization tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, SAC, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Recommend key business actions across functions to drive market share gains and topline growth.
- Support the Merchandising Team in defining needs for marketing, supply, and other functions.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, insights, and scope changes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations or reports to management on findings, project status, and proposed solutions.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Management or Analytics and at least 3‑5 years of experience in a similar role driving analytics and business improvements.
Other Qualifications- Proven track record of transforming data into actionable insights for business teams.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of business processes and project management principles.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to manage key stakeholders.
- Proactive, out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
A reasonable pay range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year (base pay only, excluding bonus). The role is located in Chicago, IL.
