Addison Group is hiring for a client, a growing wealth management organization in Chicago. The Operations Coordinator will support daily investment operations and administrative activities related to managed accounts.

Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – local candidates only)

Compensation: $25–$27/hour (contract)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite, up to 4 days if extended or converted to permanent)

Benefits: Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

About Our Client: A growing wealth management organization with a strong presence in Chicago. The team supports investment operations and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure portfolios are executed, monitored, and maintained accurately.

Job Description: The Operations Coordinator will support daily investment operations and administrative activities related to managed accounts. This role focuses on processing service requests, assisting with account onboarding, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational workflows. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a high‑touch financial services environment. This is a contract role with the potential to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and track service requests with accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate account setup, updates, and ongoing maintenance in internal systems
  • Monitor and manage operational queues to ensure timely completion of requests
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the investment operations team
  • Assist with reconciliations, billing‑related tasks, and reporting processes
  • Compile, review, and analyze data using Excel and other tools
  • Identify process gaps and support improvements to operational procedures
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in the Operations space
  • Prior experience working with operational workflows or ticketing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Professional communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset
  • Hands‑on experience within wealth management
  • Collaborative and professional team environment
