About Our Client:Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, an established organization within the insurance industry. Due to increased workload and departmental growth, they are expanding their Regulatory Compliance team and seeking additional support. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential for future conversion, though no set timeline is established.
Job Description:The Complaints Assistant will support the Regulatory Compliance department by assisting with the intake, coordination, and tracking of customer and regulatory complaints. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, communicating with internal teams, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with coordinating complaint responses by identifying the appropriate internal teams responsible for resolution
- Monitor open complaints and follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare and submit completed responses to external agencies as required
- Accurately document complaint details, status updates, and outcomes in internal tracking systems
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audit and reporting purposes
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external contacts via phone and email
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling phone and email correspondence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple spreadsheets and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to learn processes quickly
- Able to work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Background check required prior to start
- Contract to hire, long-term temporary role
