Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, expense reports and other miscellaneous firm payables.
Duties and Responsibilities- Review invoice and personal reimbursement requests to ensure proper coding and compliance with firm policies.
- Review prepared checks before mailing; ensure accurate address, mailing procedures, etc.
- Manual check entry for requests that cannot be processed through standard processes.
- Communicate to preparer/requestor or other appropriate individual any issues/discrepancies identified during the payment process. Follow-up with the appropriate individuals until the issue/discrepancy has been resolved.
- Provide excellent customer service by replying to vendor/employee inquiries regarding the payment process in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Provide support and assistance to co-workers. Work with team to resolve identified issues.
- Special projects as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1 + year of accounting or finance experience required.
- This role is fully remote but must reside in a commutable distance to the applicable firm’s office.
- Knowledge of accounts payable policies and procedures.
- High volume data entry/review experience preferred.
- Oral and/or written communication skills to solicit and communicate information effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to solve problems by choosing among clear alternatives.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

SalaryIllinois based applicants only:
The target annual salary range for this role is currently $49,000 - $62,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. To tal compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
