Are you ready to take charge and lead a successful corporate office to new heights? A well-established professional services firm in Chicago is on the lookout for a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to become an integral part of their dynamic team. This is your chance to make a real impact by taking full ownership over the hiring, onboarding, and management of the administrative staff, to ensure the seamless operation of the office.

This position offers a competitive salary of $65-100K commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, PTO, 401k. This is a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, creating a productive and efficient environment where everything runs like clockwork
  • supervise administrative staff, providing the guidance and support they need to excel
  • Manage relationships with vendors, keep the office well-stocked, and ensure all office equipment and facilities are in top shape
  • Assist with budget management, monitor office expenses, and approve invoices with precision
  • Play a key role in the hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Collaborate with IT to keep the firm’s technology systems running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Coordinate and plan company events
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in office management preferred
  • People management experience required
  • A knack for organization and multitasking, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
