As a key member of the People & Culture team, the Learning & Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering robust and comprehensive professional development and leadership development programming to the Brightpoint community. Your primary focus will be coordinating impactful and well-organized learning initiatives and special projects that empower employees at all levels, while supporting systems and communication tools that keep staff connected and informed.
Every program you help shape will be aligned with the organization’s mission and values, fostering inclusive, engaging learning experiences that strengthen organizational culture and drive growth.
- Lead and coordinate key Learning & Development initiatives, such as leadership development programs, Predictive Index administration, and other special projects.
- Create and curate engaging training materials that are professional, on-brand, and inclusive.
- Facilitate or coordinate training sessions and other learning opportunities, ensuring smooth logistics and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the L&D Manager and other stakeholders to identify skill gaps and propose innovative training solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Serve as Predictive Index site administrator and internal resource for PI-related tools and insights.
- Gather and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve programs and foster equitable learning opportunities.
- In collaboration with the Operations and Logistics L&D Coordinator, support the Learning Management System (LMS) by streamlining enrollment processes, improving navigation, and enhancing the learner experience.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in leadership development, adult learning, and organizational culture.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for L&D offerings, including scheduling and managing pre/post-training materials.
- Maintain relationships with training vendors and assist with compliance requirements (e.g., continuing education sponsorship).
- Support the department newsletters and other employee-facing communications.
- Monitor employer review platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, Indeed) and respond in alignment with organizational values.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a human services field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which relevant skills are obtained.
- Strong understanding of inclusive leadership principles, relationship-based leadership models, and their application in diverse organizational settings highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing presentation materials for diverse audiences required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating engaging and impactful professional development content required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to communicate with diverse groups required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to meet simultaneous, multiple deadlines required.
- Experience with human resources policies preferred.
- Demonstrates the skills to analyze information and exercise sound judgment and decision-making.
- Demonstrates intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and data systems.
- Demonstrates respect and acceptance of diverse individuals and communities served by, working in partnership with, or employed by Brightpoint including but not limited to race, gender, ethnicity, social-economic status, and LGBTQIA+ populations.
