Job Description

The Member Services Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Membership Department, serving as a key point of contact for members and prospective members. This individual will handle phone and email inquiries, manage membership data, and provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth department operations. The position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries, providing timely and professional responses via phone and email.
  • Accurately process membership applications, renewals, payments, and data updates.
  • Maintain membership records and assist with database management.
  • Support member engagement initiatives, including preparation for annual meetings and events.
  • Assist with product fulfillment and tracking of membership-related inventory.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Membership team and leadership.
  • Occasionally serve as backup for reception and other administrative functions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 1–2 years of professional customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills and polished phone etiquette.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with databases; prior experience with membership management systems preferred (
    Personify experience is highly valued).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel for annual meetings (approximately 3 days per year).
  • Business professional dress code.
  • Hybrid role: 1–2 days in the office each week.
  • Contract role with strong potential to convert to a permanent position.
