Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with Big 4 public accounting experience and preferably SEC or public company reporting exposure
. This role is fully remote but requires working Central Standard Time (CST) hours
. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience supporting audits, a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and process improvements.

• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with SEC reporting activities (10‑Q, 10‑K, footnotes, MD&A) if applicable, or support public‑company‑level reporting requirements.
• Perform consolidations, variance analysis, and analytical reviews to ensure accuracy of financial results.
• Prepare technical accounting memos, research new accounting standards, and assist with adoption of new guidance.
• Partner with internal and external auditors, providing schedules, documentation, and research support.
• Maintain SOX/internal control compliance and ensure proper documentation of key controls.
• Support improvements in accounting processes, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
  CPA or CPA‑eligible strongly preferred

• 3+ years of Big 4 public audit experience
  .
• SEC reporting or public company experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and reporting tools preferred.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Ability to work CST hours regardless of location.
