Summer Audit Intern

Selden Fox is a mid-sized CPA firm offering a comprehensive range of accounting, auditing, tax and management services. Established in 1978, the firm’s principle goal is to provide quality service by becoming familiar with all aspects of their clients’ business. This allows the firm to provide a personal level of service to its clients. Expanding beyond the usual accounting and auditing role, Selden Fox fosters an entrepreneurial environment, which allows for both personal and professional growth.

Summer Audit Interns will learn and participate in a variety of audit engagements for privately held corporations, governmental and nonprofit entities. Sample industries with which an intern may be engaged include municipalities, nonprofits, trade/professional associations, benefit plans, educational institutions and financial organizations.

We seek bright and assertive individuals working toward a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting with the goal of attaining CPA certification. Candidates should possess at least 15 hours of accounting coursework. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Candidates must be computer savvy (Microsoft Office products), possess outstanding communication skills, and enjoy regular client interaction at various locations. Travel during the internship is limited to Chicago metropolitan area.
