Staff Accountant - Greater Chicago Area - Hybrid

A growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a hands‑on Staff Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations across AP, AR, and general ledger functions.

This role will own full‑cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, support month‑end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and help maintain accurate, audit‑ready financials. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

This role will be approximately 75% AR/AP and 25% general accounting and month‑end close support.

• 3+ years of full‑cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong AP, AR, GL, and reconciliation experience
• Multi‑entity experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently
