Staff Accountant

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Staff Accountant based in Chicago, IL. The Staff Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and perform account reconciliations. Other responsibilities include assisting with month‑end and year‑end close processes, processing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring budgets, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies, and collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and manage resources.

• Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and ledger management
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and compliance standards
• High proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
