Location: Remote (Must reside in the US)

Start Dates: November 2025 - January 2026
Pay: $75 - $100 per hour (C2C) ...W2 rates available upon request
Overview
People Caddie is supporting several of our clients-ranging from the Big Four to Top #50 public accounting firms-in identifying Assurance Manager (Contractor) to assist with upcoming busy-season engagements. These roles provide an opportunity to work remotely across multiple industries while partnering with leading firms known for their excellence in assurance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform substantive testing, risk assessment procedures, and control evaluations.
- Prepare detailed work papers supporting audit conclusions in compliance with firm and PCAOB standards.
- Collaborate with Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely completion of audit fieldwork.
- Communicate audit findings and progress updates with both internal teams and client personnel.
- Contribute to engagement efficiency by identifying process improvements and leveraging technology tools (e.g., Case Ware, Alteryx, or firm-specific audit platforms).
Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in Public Accounting (required).
- Audit Manager Level Exp
- Prior experience in External Audit at a Big Four, Top 20, or regional accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- CPA or progress toward CPA highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
