Position Overview
Our client is a global company located in Chicago and is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant who will work 3 days a week in office. The company offers work life balance, exceptional benefits, and a supportive family-friendly culture.
Pay Range- Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr
- Act as a primary accounting contact for internal teams and client personnel, ensuring effective coordination and timely exchange of financial information.
- Monitor adherence to company revenue policies and procedures, identifying issues and partnering with revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Build strong working relationships with partners, revenue teams, and client contacts by providing responsive, accurate, and service‑oriented support.
- Serve as an operational link across revenue functions, helping maintain institutional knowledge and supporting collaborative problem‑solving.
- Prepare and maintain revenue‑related reporting, including backlog, unapplied cash, unassigned or missing time, and performance against client terms to identify potential financial risks.
- Communicate essential client accounting details—such as fee arrangements, billing guidelines, budgets, and accrual expectations—to internal stakeholders.
- Support fee arrangement reviews by providing subject‑matter insight into client accounting processes and historical financial activity.
- Coordinate timely and accurate responses to client reporting requests, including budgets, accruals, spend analyses, invoice audits, and other ad hoc financial information.
- Assist in resolving issues that arise during the revenue cycle by gathering information, coordinating with functional teams, and escalating when appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the revenue and accounting functions.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or similar
- 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
