Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to support strong customer relationships and healthy cash flow.

• Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
• Apply and reconcile customer payments, including ACH, wire, check, and credit memos
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
• Research and resolve short payments, chargebacks, allowances, and trade deductions common in CPG environments
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to resolve billing and deduction issues
• Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation
• Support month-end close activities and AR reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience, preferably in a consumer packaged goods or high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems; ERP experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
