SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading real estate firm in the Chicago land market; they are looking to add a Senior Project Accountant. With a large and growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. The company boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its’ employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
- The Senior Project Accountant will assist with communicating with subcontractors.
- Assist with AR and AP
- Assist with AIA billing and lien waivers
- Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
- Prorate expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
- Prepare periodic reports.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- 3 + years Construction experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor required
