Description
We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our Chicago, IL office. This role will join the leadership team to train, develop, and mentor staff. The right candidate will be dynamic, entrepreneurial, and career-oriented – an ideal fit for someone looking to elevate their career to the next step at a fast‑growing, international public accounting firm.
What you will do- Be part of the leadership team and train and develop staff
- Manage client work and relationships
- Review and/or prepare federal and state corporate & partnership income tax returns
- Review and/or prepare income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
- Assist with tax consulting and research on state and local, domestic and international matters common to our clients
- 5–7 years of experience preparing federal and state income tax returns
- 1–2 years of income tax return review experience
- CPA license preferred
- CCH Axcess experience
- Pro System fx Engagement experience
- Foreign‑owned U.S. subsidiaries, typically from German‑speaking countries
- Clients in many industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology & fashion

Pay RangeBase Pay Range: $120,000–$180,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
