Staff Accountant

Summary of the Role:

The Staff Accountant will participate in a diverse range of accounting tasks, requiring active collaboration with various internal departments. This role demands an ability to manage a dynamic workload efficiently. Key responsibilities include active participation in revenue management and cost‑saving initiatives, as well as identifying opportunities for financial improvement. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for regularly auditing internal projects and expenses, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project cost reporting.

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and allocations
• Perform tasks and provide support related to the month‑end and year‑end close
• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
• Assist with annual budget preparation
• Responsible for all aspects of revenue management, from billing and invoicing to accounts receivable and collections
• Project cost accounting to identify project P/Ls, provide reports and analysis on successes, trends, and areas of improvement
• Regularly conduct audits
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements and approve expense reports
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 Years on the job experience
• High attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge and interest in technology
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Good organization skills and the ability to multitask
• Experience with ERP systems – Net Suite preferred
