We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.

What You'll Do:

• Manage sales tax returns, accounts payable, payroll processing, and benefits administration with precision.
• Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts and the general ledger, preparing trial balances and ensuring accuracy in all entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable using , ensuring vendors are paid promptly and accurately.
• Develop and maintain the chart of accounts and systems for tracking financial transactions.
• Keep meticulous historical records by organizing and filing all supporting documents.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data and trends.
• Collaborate with the finance team to meet deadlines and contribute to special projects as needed.

Requirements, Skills, and

Qualifications:

• College level coursework in accounting.
• Proficiency in Quick Books Enterprise and  management.
• Strong understanding of cashflow management and cash management standards.
• Ability to analyze point-of-sale (POS) data and extract actionable insights.
• Excellent data entry and accounting reporting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and thoroughness in all work.
• Commitment to accuracy and dedication to excellence in financial processes.
