Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with fluency in Mandarin Chinese and a solid background in manufacturing accounting to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing accounting functions within a manufacturing environment, along with excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin. This role will support our operations involving Chinese-speaking clients, vendors, or subsidiaries.

• Manage and oversee general accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies specific to manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including liaising with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, vendors, and subsidiaries
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts with a focus on manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management
• Support audit processes and provide documentation as required
• Assist with tax filings, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
• Translate or review financial documents and communications in Mandarin when necessary
• Identify process improvements to streamline accounting operations within manufacturing

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, including significant experience in manufacturing accounting
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing-specific accounting principles (cost accounting, inventory valuation, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience working with Chinese companies, subsidiaries, or vendors is a plus

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with international accounting and cross-border transactions
