Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr

Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other benefit plans.
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations while maintaining accurate HRIS records.
  • Support annual open enrollment, including system setup, communications, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as the main contact for benefit eligibility, coverage, and claims questions.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other regulations.
  • Maintain required documentation and support audits, filings, and reporting.
  • Prepare benefits data analyses and cost/utilization reports.
  • Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and TPAs on plan design, renewals, and escalations.
  • Review invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Contribute to vendor evaluations and renewal discussions.
  • Administer FMLA, disability, parental, and company leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS.
  • Reconcile payroll benefit deductions and correct issues promptly.
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports for HR and Finance.
  • Process separation‑related benefit changes, including COBRA notifications.
  • Schedule:

    Monday - Friday; 8a - 4:30p.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of benefits administration or HR support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ACA.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
